Taking a Course For Category A1
It is important to take the category A1 course prior to when you can be licensed. It's not the only requirement. You also have to pass a practical test.

Theoretical lessons
Sigma Aerospace College offers courses that include all the theoretical training requirements to advance to the pilot's license. These include competencies from the MEA Aeroskills Training Package as well as Part 66 modular assessments. These courses also meet the standards for licensing by the European Union. These programs do not provide the practical aspect of training. Students can take part in the training in a practical manner using RPL.
The theoretical lessons are a key component of the class for category A1. You must take 12 theory lessons each lasting 90 minutes, in order to be able to take an exam in theory. However, the amount of these lessons could be lower depending on the progress you've made in your learning.
The theoretical lessons are geared toward writing texts that take into account the audience, purpose and style. The lessons also teach you how to discern between opinions, facts, and judgments, and also how to develop your abilities to think both deductively and inductively. Practical lessons
The A1 course is designed to prepare students for the motorcycle practical test. This course is designed for students who wish to ride mopeds or small motorbikes with a maximum capacity of 125cc. After the practical course is completed after which the student can take the Mod 1 test to receive a permit for driving motorcycles of category A1. Theory test
If you are looking to obtain a category A1 licence, you must pass a test in theory before you begin your practical training. The theory test is comprised up of 40 questions.
